The Best of…Grilling & Summer Barbecue Recipes

Grilled Mahi Mahi with Red Pepper & Cilantro Pesto Recipe

With temperatures starting to rise and the promise of summer just around the corner, many people are starting to dust off their barbecues. The Victoria Day long weekend in Canada and Memorial Day in the United States mark what many think of as the unofficial start of summer. Whether you are firing up the propane or stirring the coals, grilling and backyard barbecue parties are popular activities during the warm sunny days and the long evenings. While hamburgers and hot dogs are standard fare, many people are looking for recipes that step outside of the proverbial box and that give them the opportunity to experiment with fresh herbs and marinades. To help you in your quest to be the barbeque king/queen of your block or just to impress your dad on Father’s Day, I have compiled a list of recipes from various food blogs, including Cookin’ Canuck. There is a good variety of seafood, chicken, beef, pork, vegetable, pasta, and dessert recipes. However, if you do not find what you are looking for, use the Food Blog Search box in the left sidebar. If you have any grilling or other summer barbecue recipes that you would like to share, please feel free to leave a link in the comments.
