White Chocolate Walnut Blondie Recipe with Maple Butter Sauce

White Chocolate Walnut Blondie Recipe with Maple Butter Sauce

(Stop by my giveaway blog for two chances to win $100 Visa gift cards here and here.)

When I was at the BlogHer Food conference in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Ree Drummond, know by many as The Pioneer Woman. So often, you read someone’s writing and form a picture of how you think that person would be in person. In my head, Ree was funny, kind, and a little shy. In person, she was all of that, but I will now add gracious, quirky (this is a good thing), and sincere to the description.

I would like to share with you a guest post that I wrote for Ree’s online cooking community, Tasty Kitchen. This recipe was contributed by a Tasty Kitchen member and was quickly tucked away in my “very special recipe” file. The tender, flavorful blondie can stand on its own, but once the maple butter sauce is added, this dessert turns into something really special.

Head over to Tasty Kitchen to read the post and see step-by-step photos for this memorable recipe.

Wow! That maple butter sauce looks scrumptious! I have a bottle of the most amazing maple syrup and I have been saving it for an extra special dessert, I think I have just found it!

Thanks

I have only had blondie brownies at Applebee's restaurants and was in love. Now that I have access to a recipe I would love to try making them at home now. Great post to read to start out my morning!

Lucky you to have met Ree! You described her exactly as I have imagined her personality to be. I figured she had a little quirky in her, which of course I love too.

The blondies look out of this world!

OMG that sounds amazing, I bet that sauce DOES put it over the top! I went to a book signing last year for ree's book. She seemed exactly as you described. Of course with over 300 people waiting in line to get their book signed, there's wasn't much time for chit chat! LOL
