Top Recipes of Year Three & An Epiphanie Bag Giveaway {International}

Top-Recipes-of-Year-Three-and-An-Epiphanie-Bag-Giveaway-International-Cookin-Canuck

This giveaway is now closed, but please scroll down to enjoy some of my favorite recipes and to find out who won the giveaway.

Three years ago today, I posted the first recipe on Cookin’ Canuck. Did I have any idea that what I was starting would become a passion, a fulfillment of something inside of me, and a door to a community of new friends? Not a clue. Yes, my blog is dedicated to sharing recipes and healthy living tips, but to me it has become so much more. It is a reason to practice my photography (a work in progress), and a diary in which I can share anecdotes about my family, and my struggles and journey to healthy living and weight loss.

I feel so grateful for each and every one of my readers – for reading, for commenting (or not commenting – lurking is okay, too), for making my recipes for your family (deep satisfaction for me), for catching my typos (I truly appreciate this) and for your loyalty.

My deepest gratitude goes to my family and friends for all of the intangibles…having faith, for feeling joy along with me, and for supporting me in more ways than I can count. And for the tangibles…washing dishes, taste-testing, making recipe suggestions, pouring liquids while I snap photos…the list is unending.

As a thank you to all of my readers, I am giving away a beautiful Epiphanie bag. And yes, the giveaway is open to everyone (18 years or older)…we’re going international on this one! Scroll down to read more about the bag and how to enter.

The giveaway is now closed.

{Update: The winner of the Epiphanie camera bag is comment #1846, Melody Fury (Gourmet Fury) who said, “What an amazing year it’s been for you, m’dear! Congrats in more ways than 1. I’d love to try your Grilled Tri-Tip Steak with Molasses Chili Marinade.” Congratulations, Melody! You are going to love your Epiphanie Bag. I will be emailing you with the details.}

One lucky reader will win an Epiphanie bag (the Clover style), with their choice of the in-stockavailable colors. (Total value of the giveaway is approximately $185.)

This giveaway is open to anyone, in any country, 18 years of age or older (yes, international!), and will be open until Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 at 5pm PST.

How do I love my Epiphanie bag? Let me count the ways.

It holds 1 camera body with lens attached, 1 long lens, 2 extra lenses, wallet, keys, cell phone, and other miscellaneous personal items. Now that’s a bag that’s working overtime!

Clover Black with gear 400

It has a nicely padded spot for my MacBook (it fits up to a laptop with a 15-inch screen).

It is so darn cute! And I adore the bright pink padding inside (for the gray Clover), which easily adjusts to accommodate different lenses.

Discovered your site not too long ago and have bookmarked SEVERAL recipes to try! One of the above recipes that I make every month now is the low fat granola bars. I love that there’s no sugar in them (except what’s natural in the ingredients) and I eat one almost everyday! Thanks for all your hard work on these recipes =)

Congratulations on three years and thanks for sharing your recipes and your wonderful stories and fantastic photography. I have just recently found your site and wanted to take the giveaway seriously. ( I seriously love the prize too ! ). So I thought I would create an entire meal….beginning with a Caesar cocktail with the roasted shrimp with Rosemary garlic an lemon appetizer, followed by that super D elicious looking tri tip with molasses chili marinade….and the big decision…. For dessert……..peach crumb bars with hazelnut streusel !!!!!!!!! So, to play by your rules if I was to choose just one…..I would say it is difficult but I will choose the roast shrimp ! Can not wait to try ! Thanks again !
