It is the height of avocado season, and Kristen (of Dine and Dish) and I asked you to share your favorite recipes for our California Avocados 4th of July Blast. Did you ever come through with flying colors! There were smoothies and soups, salads and avocado fries. You made the most of the creamy, green fruit and it was very tough to narrow the field down to my three favorites.

Betsy of BetsyLife takes a traditional Argentinian sauce and fresh avocado, and pairs them together in an original take on bruschetta.
