Out of hundreds of recipes, these top 10 recipes are my most popular recipes. There's everything from soup to cookies to quick breads. Let's dive in!
When you hit those big birthdays...30, 40, 50 and so on...do you get as sentimental as I do? I need a couple of days to look through all photos and relive memories from the past five or ten years. My poor family would be wise to leave the house, or just sit me in front of a plate full of sushi to keep my quiet.
Well, I'm going through one of those sentimental times with my blog this week. As I mentioned on Friday when I chatted about My Top 10 Tips for Bloggers, Cookin' Canuck just turned five.
So, I sat down with a bowl of soy sauce and cayenne-doused soba noodles (one of my many comfort foods) and scrolled through some of my favorite recipes and posts from the past five years to come up with my top 10 recipes.
And then I decided to get analytical about the whole thing, which just means that I looked up my stats in Google Analytics to find out what YOUR favorite posts were. My Health and Weight Loss Journey post was one of them, but I wanted to make it all about the recipes.
So, here they are...my top 10 recipes, your favorites:
#1 Hearty Chicken Stew with Butternut Squash & Quinoa
The most frequently made recipe on my site. This one's a definite keeper!
#2 Cannellini Bean Vegetarian "Meatballs" with Tomato Sauce
Vegetarian "meatballs"? Yeah, that's why I said. Trust me...try them.
#3 Baked Egg Breakfast Casserole with Mushrooms, Spinach & Salsa
Breakfast or dinner? I say both!
#4 Grilled Zucchini Rolls with Herbed Goat Cheese & Kalamata Olives
This is one of my all-time favorite summertime appetizers.
#5 Nutella & Sea Salt Stuffed Sugar Cookies
Nutella stuffed inside of a soft, chewy cookie. Need I say more?
#6 Baked Turkey, Quinoa & Zucchini Meatballs In Lettuce Wraps
This is a great way to work some vegetables and whole grains into your meatballs.
#7 Caramelized Onion & Spinach Olive Oil Quick Bread
I was completely shocked at how well this turned out. I am now a sucker for savory quick breads.
#8 No-Bake Carrot Cake Granola Bites {Low Sugar & Gluten-Free}
This is one of my kids' all-time favorite snacks. They're quite happy to substitute these for sugary desserts, too.
#9 Spaghetti Squash with Spinach, Feta & Basil White Beans
This is the recipe that made me fall in love with spaghetti squash. It's an ongoing love affair.
#10 Fisherman's Soup with Tilapia, Shrimp, Tomatoes & Capers
Many of you have made this and obviously feel as amorous towards this recipe as I do.
Thank you for all of your support over the past five years. I hope to be cooking together for many years to come!

I love all of these recipes, but my FAVORITE is the brie-strawberry-agave nectar-basil-on-little-toasts appetizer. It always gets RAVES. Thanks!!
