The last summer “hurrah” is just over a week away. The Labor Day long weekend calls for grilled food and refreshing, kick-you-in-the-pants cocktails. Some of my favorites are on this list, from Caesars (a Canadian classic) to margaritas and kamikazes.
The list doesn’t stop there. I cruised around some other blogs and found some cocktail recipes that you will definitely want to whip up for your get-together. Well, maybe not all of them for one party. That could get ugly.
You may have noticed some new “What’s Cookin’…” posts over the past couple of weeks. The first one featured healthy breakfast recipes for school mornings and last week’s post highlighted best blogger zucchini recipes. The “What’s Cookin’…” feature is one I’ll be doing regularly. Sometimes it will spotlight a certain ingredients and other times I’ll stray away from food completely. You’ll see posts about running, travel, photography…time will tell.
Be sure to check out the new tab under the headers, labeled Tidbits. Under that heading are a few choices – What’s Cookin’, Running, Weight Loss and Healthy Living. These are all important parts of my life and I’m excited to share more of these posts with you!
And now, it’s time to turn things back to cocktails.
Let’s get mixing…
