When I was at the BlogHer Food conference in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Ree Drummond, know by many as The Pioneer Woman. So often, you read someone’s writing and form a picture of how you think that person would be in person. In my head, Ree was funny, kind, and a little shy. In person, she was all of that, but I will now add gracious, quirky (this is a good thing), and sincere to the description.
I would like to share with you a guest post that I wrote for Ree’s online cooking community, Tasty Kitchen. This recipe was contributed by a Tasty Kitchen member and was quickly tucked away in my “very special recipe” file. The tender, flavorful blondie can stand on its own, but once the maple butter sauce is added, this dessert turns into something really special.
