Ingredients

  • 4 pink grapefruits
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced mint leaves

Instructions

  • Cut the peel of the pink grapefruits and cut the segments away from the membranes (see How to Segment Citrus Fruits). Place the segments in a bowl, reserve the juice for another use and discard the membranes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the boiling water and honey, and stir until the honey dissolves. Stir in the mint leaves and steep for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the honey mixture over the grapefruit and toss gently to combine. Serve.
