Ingredients

diced Gala apple

cup
shredded Cheddar cheese
½
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1
teaspoon
honey
or
agave nectar

Athens mini fillo shells

strips cooked bacon
crumbled
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium sized bowl, stir together the apple, cinnamon and honey (or agave nectar) until the apples are coated. Gently stir in the Cheddar cheese.
Place the fillo shells on a baking sheet, and spoon the apple mixture into the fillo shells, packing slightly.
Sprinkle the bacon evenly over the apple mixture.
Bake until the cheese is melted and the fillo shells are just starting to brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve.
