Mini Apple, Cheddar & Bacon Fillo Snack Tart Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced Gala apple
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave nectar
  • 15 Athens mini fillo shells 1 package
  • 1 ½ strips cooked bacon crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a medium sized bowl, stir together the apple, cinnamon and honey (or agave nectar) until the apples are coated. Gently stir in the Cheddar cheese.
  • Place the fillo shells on a baking sheet, and spoon the apple mixture into the fillo shells, packing slightly.
  • Sprinkle the bacon evenly over the apple mixture.
  • Bake until the cheese is melted and the fillo shells are just starting to brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve.
