I would post a video of me performing my happy dance, but that would just drive all of you away, so I’ll refrain. The dance would be my way of expressing my overly exuberant adoration for all-things-fall. Crisp leaves, cooler temperatures and recipes that comfort and warm. This is a collection of my favorite fall recipes, from soups and stews, to salads and desserts. There’s a little something for everyone.
Soups & Stews:
The chicken stew on the left is the all-time most popular recipes on my blog. It tries to be modest, but I’ll secretly tell you that it really does live up to the hype. But don’t let it overshadow the little darling on the right, who deserves her own kudos.
And these hearty soups will warm you to your toes.
And a couple more of my favorites…
Salads & Vegetables:
Slaw and cauliflower shed their mundane reputations in these two recipes.
These gorgonzola cups make a pretty presentation for entertaining, while spaghetti squash breaks out of its “tomato sauce on top” mold.
What is fall without caramel and apples? These upside-down biscuits highlight both ingredients beautifully. And these bars? Well, there’s brown butter and espresso. Need I say more?
These pumpkin latte muffins are a new creation, but they have already earned a place in my family’s “fall recipe hall of fame”, right alongside the caramel apple sundaes.
Enjoy the crisp cool days and get cooking, everybody!
