It’s time to pull out my Top 10 Healthy Super Bowl recipes for the big game. From appetizers to entrées, there’s something for everyone!
In any other year, Super Bowl Sunday would mean a day of cooking our favorite comfort foods and healthy football snacks, and watching pre-game shows. But this year will be a little different. We decided that this was the year that we were really going to do the ski thing the right way. Every Sunday, we pack some lunches, pull on some layers and head to the slopes just half an hour away for a day of skiing. That doesn’t leave us much time for cooking before the Super Bowl, so the plan is a little different this year.
We’ll be making a batch of Slow Cooker Hoisin Chicken the day before, then reheating it just before the big game and piling it on whole wheat buns with a Spicy Asian Slaw. Sweat pants, a roaring fire, our good friends and our favorite shredded chicken. That sounds like the perfect game day to me!
While Super Bowl snacks are notoriously calorie- and fat-laden, I have a whole slew of healthy recipes in my arsenal that are every bit as satisfying. Let’s get started with my family’s Top 10 healthy Superbowl snacks. May the best team win on Sunday!
If you make any of these recipes, I’d love to see them on Instagram! Just use the hashtag #COOKINCANUCK and tag @cookincanuck, and I’ll be sure to find your photos.

Good for you for getting skiing done right this year; that’s our plan as well albeit we go Saturdays but there is hardly any snow at mt hood 🙁
Your Super Bowl party sounds like our kind of thing – outdoor fun followed by a relaxing evening/afternoon hanging out with friends and good food.

Could you please add me to your email account because my school google account is blocking me from doing it. The school tech says he can’t fix the problem.
I do have you pinned but I’m not good at that either–just learning how it works.
Thanks for your help.

The way I see it, the healthier the snack, the more I can eat of it. LOL
Is it so wrong? Yeah, probably 😉 They all look wonderful, Dara!
