Like many of you, on January first I find myself scratching out some resolutions for the new year. These typically involve some sort of promise to eat more healthfully and exercise more vigorously, in a hope to abandon the need to suck in my stomach each time I walk by a mirror. Those resolutions are making an appearance on my list again, along with a pledge to organize our basement. I would show you a picture of our neglected storage area, but I am worried you would sic one of those TLC home organization shows on me.
Last year, I put together a list of New Year’s Recipe for Weight Loss & Healthy Living, from my site, as well as other blogs I frequently read. In the hopes of providing a resource of links for those of you who have “diet” on the mind, I have pulled together another list, featuring recipes I bookmarked in 2010. Happy New Year to each of you and good luck with those resolutions!
Please share some of your favorite healthy recipes by leaving links links in the comments section.

a very nice list indeedy – but I see that none of mine made your 'healthier' 2011 weight loss mission of hope… oh well, maybe if I cut out a stick of butter, reduce the bacon and not cook everything with some sort of cajun sausage, I might just have a shot at next year's…. looking forward to another year of your great cooking and tasty recipes – yep, afraid you are stuck with me…

All of the photos are mouthwatering, but that Caprese Fritatta is making me hungry for breakfast! Theresa

You are one amazing cook! And this is one heck of a collection. Although I truly believe in "moderation in all things", at this time of year, after so much indulging, a little less of everything is a good thing. (But when you make everything look so good, too — that's a dilemma!)
Aggie says
What a WONDERFUL post to give us! Thank you for including me but thank you even more for all these wonderful ideas!!! Happy new year my friend!!
Helene says
What a list! Love it! Already bookmarked plenty! Thanks Dara and Happy New Year!

Dara, you've done it again! I could quite easily cook exclusively off of your sensational roundup until 2012 and be both totally happy and perhaps lose a couple of pounds in the process. Gorgeous, delicious, healthy, etc., and a whole bunch of other superlatives really do sum up this excellent post.
