Last night I resorted to canned soup. I could pretend that I was being a good mum, serving something that went down easily for my 13-year old who got braces yesterday. The truth of the matter is that I was running on empty and couldn’t muster the motivation to do anything but open open a can and turn on a burner or two. We all have those days, right?
